If your child is finding reading and spelling more difficult than expected, private Literacy support can make a meaningful difference.
Read Well Spell Well works exclusively with private clients, offering bespoke reading and spelling support that addresses the underlying skills required for lasting literacy progress.

In today’s competitive academic environment, watching your child fall behind can be worrying. It can be tough to see your child get frustrated with letters and words. Sometimes, this can be a sign of dyslexia, a common learning difference that affects how the brain processes language. It’s not about being “smart” or “not smart”, it simply means their brain learns in a unique way.
Read Well Spell Well offers a different approach to traditional tutoring. Instead of a one-size-fits-all program, I create a learning experience that’s all about your child. By focusing on their specific needs, we can build a strong foundation for reading and writing, helping them feel empowered and confident in their abilities.

With strong foundations in place your child can reach their full potential.
Having spent many years as a Registered Speech Pathologist with extensive skills in Literacy Intervention, I realised that a lot of children require a level of insight and expertise that goes beyond traditional tutoring and that this was the missing piece of the puzzle for a lot of children, who despite ongoing tutoring, were still struggling with learning the foundations of literacy.
With my focus on helping primary school children to reach their full potential in the areas of reading and spelling, I decided to dedicate my services to being a Literacy Consultant in the Sydney, North Shore area, to ensure that parents are able to privately access the personalised 1:1 support for their child, when they need it.
Drawing on evidence-based literacy approaches and a deep understanding of how children learn to read, my sessions with your child will focus on the underlying skills required for reading and spelling success, not just surface-level practice. This allows your child to make meaningful progress while feeling supported, understood and capable.
The ability to communicate well, not only through voice, but also through reading and writing, has a direct impact on a child's (and subsequent adult's) self-confidence in every aspect of life, from school to relationships and future employment.
I look forward to meeting you and your child and supporting you through this phase in their learning.

The Read Well Spell Well difference!

My methods aren’t guesses, they’re rooted in the Science of Reading.
Using structured, multisensory techniques, I systematically address gaps in phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
This isn’t a quick fix, it’s a permanent solution.

My approach is built on evidence-based instruction. I begin with placement screens to understand your child’s unique literacy profile. This allows me to tailor a learning plan specifically for them.
My aim is to help your child feel confident and successful while building a strong foundation for a lifetime of reading and spelling

As a former speech pathologist with years of experience helping primary school-aged children in Sydney’s northern suburbs, I understand the pressures students face.
I have deep empathy for children with learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, and a genuine passion for helping them succeed.
