Get to know me

Hi, I'm Michele, Speech Pathologist, Literacy Consultant, Business Owner and more!

Life Beyond the Clinic

I know first hand that life is a juggle! I’m a mum to two teenagers, so I understand the reality of busy family schedules and the desire to see your children succeed and be happy.

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll likely find me:

• Exploring local trails on long walks with my dog.
• Curled up with a good book (I practice what I preach!).
• Knitting an impossible pattern!
• Planning my next travel adventure or simply enjoying the great outdoors.

I bring that same love for discovery and growth into every session with my students.

Why choose me to support your child...

Your child’s safety and success are my top priorities.

I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and professional literacy support experience tailored to your child’s individual needs.

My experience and credentials reflect this commitment.

  • I qualified as a Speech Pathologist over 20 years ago and have a deep interest in literacy.
  • I have undertaken extensive post-graduate training in literacy-specific speech pathology, ensuring that every session is backed by the latest research in the science of reading.
  • I have trained in the Spalding Method, Orton Gillingham IMSL, Sounds Write and Read3.
  • I hold a current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
  • I am a Registered Tutor with SPELD NSW
  • I am a Registered Member of Learning Difficulties Australia

Experience

My qualifications and over 20 years of experience as a Speech Pathologist together with post graduate studies focused on literacy, ensure that your child is learning in a secure and trusted environment, guided by someone who understands and supports diverse learning needs. You can feel confident knowing that I meet the highest standards of safety, experience and professionalism.

Authenticity

With many years of experience working directly within the school system, I understand the unique pressures children face in the classroom. My approach isn't just about "practising more", it’s about evidence-based intervention. I know how to identify the "why" behind a child's struggle and create a roadmap to help them thrive.

Dedication

Every session is a live, personalised interaction, carefully designed around your child’s unique learning style and delivered by me personally. I pride myself on being able to successfully support primary school children to master the foundational skills of reading and spelling, turning frustration into

"I can do this!" moments.
